Light Kit Defective
Would Not RecommendThe ceiling fan looks great but the light kit went bad in about a month. When I called to request a new light kit I was informed by the manufacturer it was not in stock and call back in a month. I called back and was told it was still not in stock and call back in two month. Lowe's customer service provided me a part number for the kit so I could be informed when they were available. My ceiling is in an 10 degree angle. So I had to use a 12in rod to help with clearance and wobble. The rod doesn't fit perfectly on the base. Its not like other brands that you screw the rod in, this one just drops in and has safety rod with at pin. Once you tighten, its off to the side, this doesnt place it in the center of the motor and can contribute to wobbling. Moves air, but not worth it
Would Not RecommendIt's been installed for a year now, and it moves the air well. However, it randomly turns on, usually at the highest setting in the middle of the night. It was quiet last year, but this summer has started to make noise while operating. Also, the only way to operate it is to use the remote, which has a very confusing layout. Most people can't figure out how to use the fan, without a detailed explanation. We are going to replace this fan with something simpler, and go with another brand.
