Ratings & Reviews for GroundSmart 75-cu ft Cubic feet Black Rubber Shredded Bulk rubber mulch (IPEMA Certified for Playgrounds) Recycled Bulk Mulch

Do Not Order from Lowes

My problem is not with the product but the delivery. The delivery was delayed 3 times with little to no communication. I was given 3 delivery windows, and all were missed. Waited 3 times but they were no shows. Delivery was from Estes and Humble Trucking.

Do not buy

Started our landscaping project with Ground Smart shredded rubber mulch in small bags bought in store. Needed more so ordered this pallet. Product was not Ground Smart brand, and the “shreds” were huge, nothing like my in store purchase. In addition, the rubber feels dry and brittle not soft and rubbery. Item should not state Ground Smart brand, this is an inferior product.

rubber mulch

excellent product

Great!

The delivery was perfect and considered and placed where I wanted them. The product is as described and beautiful when spread. Very satisfied and would recommend.

Love the new look of the SHRED

Left this item in my cart until it went on sale. I have used the nugget style rubber mulch for years, now that the yard is pretty much finished being mapped out, the only use for new mulch will be for top dressing...when the shredded mulch came out it's look, so much like the wood mulches, is wonderful and the fineness of the texture will be great as a top dress over the nuggets and hopefully will help keep the nuggets in place and prevent as much "migration" as we've had in the past...the shre...

Good Product Awful Shipping

The product is fine, but the third party that Lowe's uses to deliver the product are horrible. The product was delivered to their warehouse and they sat on it for a week before scheduling with me. You need to be there to sign for the delivery. The first try, they promised to deliver within a window, waited all day, only to find out their driver ran out of time and had to reschedule. Promised on second day, never came. Never maded it on the truck. Third day promise again, and when they did...

Disappointed in the consistency

We had previously purched 150 bags of this mulch. When we ordered another 50 bags, I requested the same item number at my local Lowe’s. The new product was a different color, it had a reddish brown color, labeled the same but I think a different manufacturer.

Count the bags on arrival

The order was short 6 bags. I did not count them when they arrived as were wrapped in plastic I have called the store, left a message for the manager and text the number he initially left with no response.

Rubber Mulch

Great product! great delivery & price!

Looks like regular wood mulch but lasts 10x longer

Seems expensive compared to regular mulch but you end up saving about 4x as you do not need to replace the mulch for about 10 years. Looks like shredded red wood mulch. Was easy to spread as came in individual bags rather than those really large 'bags'. Does have a lingering rubbery smell which I hope goes away over time.

Shredded rubber mulch

Exactly what was ordered, on time and delivered where i asked.

great product

Have heard good things about rubber mulch...won't wash away, only need to possibly add to it year after year, weeds won't come as easily and not as likely to cause termites like regular mulch.

Bitter Sweet

I like the product very well, it looks great! The cost was insane and will require the rubber mulch to last 10 years plus to prove it value.

Black Rubber Mulch

Shredded a little finer than I expected. Spreads easily. Looks great.
