Before using firt hit was to close the staple up more. I'm sure they will hold fine . I also screwed a board over the top covering all the staples so they dont back out.

Heavier duty option than your normal staples
Would RecommendIf you've ever tried running poultry wire with a staple gun, you know they're usually flimsy and not particularly secure. These are the opposite. They bite hard and really cinch down hardware cloth and chicken wire. They're slower to install, but you need far less.

Would Not RecommendI bought these for a fencing project and they do not work well. They are not sharp enough and the metal is too soft. These were doing a terrible job going to relatively soft pine. I have routinely had bad experiences with Hillman branded fasteners and these will be going into the garbage.
