80 Volt 10 Foot Pole Saw

Would Recommend

I purchased this item and I am very pleased with it.

Worked as Expected

Worked as I hoped it would. Chain oil and charge seemed to last long enough. Cut through even 2-3 inch branches pretty easily. Instruction manual was not very clear and I did a couple things wrong before I was able to figure out the diagrams and instructions.

Oil leaking

Would Not Recommend

Chain oil is leaking out of the cutting head somewhere when it is off. I will be calling warranty service soon. The pole saw seems very heavy duty and cuts well.

Great equipment

Would Recommend

We use it everyday for the small stuff. Works great.

The saw is so heavy and clumsy it is near useless.

Would Not Recommend

The center section of the pole can NOT be removed. This means you must always cut with the whole length of the saw. This is awkward and difficult when cutting branches near the ground. The total weight of the saw makes this inability doubly difficult.

Pole saw

Would Recommend

This saw is exactly what I was looking for. It can reach really high limbs, and runs off batteries (so no gas oil mix or pull starting)!

Way too cumbersome and heavy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have several Greenworks tools and have been very happy with them. Unfortunately, this tool is a disappointment. I used it for the first time today and it is very heavy and cumbersome to use. It is a fixed length and can't be shortened. Its 9 foot length makes it unwieldily to transport and to store. It really needs to be easier to collapse for storage. I really wish this tool used the same small motor and bar from the 24V hand held chai...

Save Yourself a Headache and Get a Stihl Gas Power

Would Not Recommend

I bought this pole saw because I am a woman and felt I needed something a lighter to work with. This is the most frustrating saw. The chain pops off about every 3rd cut, and takes a couple of minutes to put back on. This is very disappointing. When the chain stays on, the saw works great. I ended up buying a Stihl gas-powered pole saw, and decided to build some muscle.

Too long and awkward to use

Would Recommend

I bought the pole saw which I love but it was too long at nearly 11 feet?! So I removed the extension piece and rewired the battery to the saw head and now it is 6 feet long and very easy to maneuver and cut with !! This saw will cut through anything and the reduced length makes it a breeze to handle. I know I voided warranty but I’d rather have a saw I can handle than a guarantee from the company about a product I know works great!
