I purchased this as a hobbiest woodworker. I just retired and was tired of finishing my work by hand. Lots of positive reviews online. The one on Bent’s woodworking was especially helpful. I should have done this years ago. Easy to use, easy to clean and sprays a simply fantastic finish. Expensive? Yes, worth it? Yes. I purchased the original and the new QuickShot II has some nice features but I am very happy with this rig.

Purchase the unit roughly a month ago and love it so far. I've used it for a small cabinet job. I sprayed crown and baseboard in one bedroom. Plus cut in around everything else with it. I've been painting for almost 35 years. I've fought with chords from sprayers for years. If you've got a few door frames or something like that scattered throughout the house like the job we just completed it was excellent running through the house super fast. It's a little pricey but so far so good I haven't had...

Great for Cabinets/Trim
Would RecommendSo far very impressive. The issues I have found with it are, the holster where the unit rest on your hip, wish it would keep it straight verses leaning forward from the weight. Second would be the hook on the gun doesn’t lock that well when you go to hang it on the unit

Great sprayer. I own two units. The only drawback in my opinion is the screw top. When refilling the cup multiple times in the course of a day, the top gets more difficult to unscrew.

Is a really good value investment
Would RecommendWorked great, until I put in the bottom of paint can and started getting clogs. I wasn’t using filters at the time. Cleaned out system (in sink with warm water), open a new can and worked great again. Carried the machine more than the belt because the paint reservoir empties quickly when painting doors. Only issue was the nut that holds the spray tip was set too tight at the factory. Backed it off with wrench and hand tightened. Worked really well! I’m pleased with the quality of work and ...

Great Features
Would RecommendThis is the fourth Graco spray system I’ve purchased and by far the best one. It’s portable, light, easy to clean and sprays like a dream. I also have a Fuji Mini Mite 4 and it works great, but it’s a little more involved because of thinning paint, set up and cleaning. Graco makes exceptional spray systems, but the quick shot is the best for my diy shop. Couldn’t be happier and highly recommend it.

Junk
Would Not RecommendI purchase this for 1500 brand new from a guy selling and since I was not the original owner graco will not stand behind this. This is a total waste of money like all my handheld have been. I will never purchase another fraco sprayer

Great sprayer
Would RecommendI own a GX-19 and a Fuji HVLP sprayer as well and this is the best thing I have ever used to spray latex paint bar none! If you want a silky smooth finish, use a FX 208 or 308 and Stix primer, and Advance Benjamin Moore Cabinet paint and at least 16 hours between coats and you will be amazed!

The QuickShot is Awesome!
This is a game changer. Run, don't walk, to purchase this machine. Easy set-up and cleaning. I am a homeowner and I am getting professional level finishes with the QuickShot.

Very bad
Would Not RecommendIt broke less than a year after use, and for the past six months, it had been thoroughly cleaned after each use. I don't think the problem was with the cleaning process itself. I suspect that during normal operation, when the machine became paint-blocked, excessive pressure - combined with design or quality issues with the piston rubber seal - caused moisture to enter the electromagnetic control unit. In addition, the hardware materials used in the electromagnetic components may be prone to rust...
