It’s got the Goop

I’ve used this to make some repairs on a shower/tub wall. It’s held up well for over 2 years so I bought more for a similar project. It’s a little difficult to work with but feathered well to the surrounding wall and is mold resistant. I was able to smooth it out a bit for a finishing coat by using a little water on my fingers.

The Black is great, the clear not so much

It worked really great repairing a Convertible Auto Roof. The onlty thing I will say, is that the Clear did not hold anywhere close to h0w the black held. The black was perfect, the clear did not hold in places

Disappointed

I bought this waterproof tape,because it said it would work underwater. They patches I use from the pool store I usually have to replace every summer. I thought this would solve that problem. It did not minutes after my son applied them they started to curl back. This was all done underwater and he peeled it back underwater before application.

Did not work submerged under water.

Purchased to fix a leak in pool liner and tape did not adhere underwater as advertised. The sticky was completely lost after being submerged.

Does NOT Work on Pool Liners

Tried to fix a small hole in our pool liner. Couldn’t get the tape to adhere. We followed every direction and couldn’t get it to work. Very disappointed in the waste of money.

Doesn't work like it says it suppose to i just bought some for my pool and it didn't hold

Swimming pool liner repair

I used it on our vinyl swimming pool that had a 3“ x 2“ L shaped slit in it did it as directed worked fine later I found another small hole maybe a quarter inch long in a different place but I’ve already filled the pool so I tried it, putting it on under the water and It’s hasn’t leaked yet

Peeling Tape Underwater

Used to fix small leak in pool liner. Followed all directions, even applied dry, and the tape has peeled up after the pool was filled. Very disappointed in the “permanent” bond that is advertised.

Failed Product

Purchased this seal tape over the Flex Seal brand, because I assumed it would be better. I am trying to stop a leak in an inflatable hot tub, the leak is from a a single cat claw hole on the top, not underneath the water line. The gorilla tape seems to be hard to stick to the surface, I even used rubbing alcohol to prep the area before applying the tape. Once the tape it only last 12 to 24 hours before peeling off and leaking. Waste of money.

Instant gratification!

Patched up the air mattress instantly where patches failed. Saved the day!

Arrived dried up

Lid perfect. Inside dried up. Could not use. Not worth my time to return. Will warn people here.

Too dried to use

We were going to patch some screw holes in our mobile home and really like the gorilla products so we bought this. What a disappointment! Guess it wasnt sealed right when it was shipped,because when we opened it,it was had packed everywhere but the center, just dried out solid, poked a hole in center and used some of it,but not happy. Husband threw out receipt,so we just tossed it in trash. Lesson learned to always check can.
