Ratings & Reviews for Gladiator Ready-to-Assemble 3/4 Door GearBox 28-in W x 31-in H x 18-in D Freestanding Steel Garage Cabinet in Gray

Cabinets

I got two cabinets and they work great. They were fairly easy to put together.

Good Buy

Perfect addition to our upper cabinets already in our garage. Fairly easy to put together. Fit, capacity and durability were as expected.

Well made medium duty box

It was well made. Metal could be heavier . That’s why it’s a medium duty box. Made better than the cheaper boxes but not truly industrial quality. Directions could be better. Looks good. Doors are even and drawer opens and closes easy.

Bullet proof

I already own two of these. Just added third. Tough as nails and lasts years. My other two are 20 years old and look as good as new. assembly is a bit tough, but that is the extra price that you pay.

Not worth it.

I ordered two of these cabinets on line and had them delivered. The quality of the material was disappointing and not what I expected from Gladiator. When they were delivered one was so dented I had use a rubber mallet to get the dents out just so I could put it together. After all that the drawer still doesn't open and close all that well. Storage unit could use additional shelf.

Great product. Instructions for assemble better than average. Better with casters.

Buy Assembled Hard to Assemble

Spent 8 hours trying to assemble. Was able to assemble companion piece easily. Great product. Just buy assembled. Bringing my first one back unassembled. Bought a second assembled.

High quality, sturdy materials, easy to assemble.

The entire GearBox was super easy to assemble. The parts were well marked and the instructions were easy to follow. The box is made from high quality and sturdy materials. No complaints whatsoever. I purchased this box to add to a pair of Gladiator drawer sets that I purchased 12 years ago. The dimensions and build quality were identical, so the final fit was perfect. It is good to know that I can count on Gladiator to be consistent in their designs over time, so it makes it much easier to...

They look nice ,but not very strong

Metal very thin and doors and drawer hit each other.

Great addition to storage

Exactly as advertised. Cabinet and drawer are well constructed and easy to assemble. The drawer slides seem to be lighter duty than some tool storage drawer sets, but are high quality nonetheless.
