GE Profile 7 yr old appliances died

This house had all GE Profile appliances. First to go out at 4 years was microwave. Refrigerator followed at 4.5 years. Dishwasher followed at 5 years. Now vent hood has died at 7 years. Needless to say, I did not replace with GE nor will I recommend

2 issues in 3 years of use

Started Rattling sound and after a week it stopped working. We had it from new built house which we bought in Dec 2021.i do not recommend this product to any other consumer. I already had the same issue before which was covered under warranty but now its doesnot fall under warranty.

Ehh, look elsewhere

Has a life span of about 4-5 years. Thought it would have lasted longer, unfortunately the blower died a loud and awful death. Seeing blowers are more than 1k I’ll take my chances with something different. Dissatisfied overall. Buttons didn’t work on command, and as stated in other reviews it is very loud.

poor exhaust, too loud

Frankly I am disappointed with this product. The exhaust at the lowest setting is very loud! My previous hood, a Bosch product, had three settings and the lowest setting made very little noise. This GE hood is extremely loud at the lowest setting and each subsequent setting is intolerable and interferes with all activities (conversation, TV, radio) in our kitchen/family room/dining area. Would not recommend this product.

Stunning design

In a new build this range hood makes a statement! It is flanked by 2 white upper cabinets and the tile behind the hood is white. lower cabinets are vertical grain contemporary. the Range hood is beautiful in the space, but also does a great job with the exhaust and the light is great to leave on as a night light.

Bright LED light Not able to make it warmer color

I recently purchased the GE Hood Vent for my kitchen and I am extremely satisfied with the product. The vent hood is not only functional but also stylish, and it has greatly improved the air quality in my kitchen. However, there is one concern that I have regarding the LED light on the hood vent. Great features aesthetically appealing

As part of our kitchen remodel, my wife and I decided to replace all appliances, add a wall oven and range hood. We chose GE profile to supply these items because of their quality, and customer support.

Lights and fan - good combo

Like the multiple speeds for the fan, and light options. Works well and not noisy.

Looked nice, but no light

Easy to install, but the wiring for the weren’t connect at the factory. Nice GE service personnel got the lights working quickly.

Very loud

Hood very beautiful beast, very loud at lowest speed , after 1 year I used whirlpool cheap hood for 17 yrs and did not see this loud I am forever GE Appliance user for more than 20 yrs For new home we purchased this costly beautiful looking hood, turned too loud in one year , Hood is very important tool for kitchen , never coooked without hood on in years and I am in situations can stand Loud hood Not sure how to fix this

Very nice looking vent hood with great suction power. It is very easy to use with two bright lights. I would purchase it again.
