Warranty claim after one month

I’ve owned this refrigerator for about a month and already making a warranty claim. The plastic guard on the freezer shelf snapped at the corner somehow. We lightly use the freezer, as we have a deep freeze, there has not been much use yet. No complaints otherwise about this refrigerator, other than I thought, when ordering online that the refrigerator crisper drawers would have been made of the thicker plastic and heavy duty drawers, instead they are the typical cheap brittle plastic pull out ...

Can't see inside

It was a great refrigerator until last month. When all the lights in the refrigerator side went dim. GE refuses to come out even with a paid service call. I was told they do not service Lacey, New Jersey. However, you have already been here for my washing machine.

Very loud and high pitched compressor

Beautiful fridge but the high pitched noise from the compressor triggered headaches.

Happy with the product so far no issues. Love the ice maker.

Nice fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is well designed. The water filter is inside the fridge so it does limit the ability to move shelves. There is a shelf that can be half way moved and it is likely to break, I wish it was a whole shelf. The freezer is intermittently loud, but makes very good ice very quickly. Overall happy with our purchase, but it has only been 3 weeks.

Amazing features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my refrigerator! I have had a few in my lifetime but the features, space, and ease of use is what makes this one stand out. I love how the shelf retracts for larger items. The turbo cool on this fridge is amazing as well as the quick ice.

GE PROFILE REPLACEMENT

The refrigerator is replacing my 28 year old GE Profile refrigerator. I like the appearance of the product and that it gives me more space than a counter depth refrigerator would have. The difference in quality from my 28 year old refrigerator is significant. This refrigerator is not as well made as my old refrigerator. I will submit a more relevant review after 2 years of use.

Refrigerator Is Great; Not the Delivery

The refrigerator is just what we wanted but needs to be returned because it doesn't fit and the delivery men damaged some of our woodwork because the older one refused to take off the doors until after scraping the hall (and his younger partner could not hear his instructions because they left the truck running outside the open front door). They told us to order a smaller replacement (which we have) and left this one in an awkward location until the replacement could be delivered at least 2.5 w...

Good basic fridge.

Less freezer and more refrigerator would be helpful. There’s no place for wide things. The ice and water through the door seem to work ok.

Faulty Manufacturing DO NOT BUY

I purchased this fridge 3 years ago when we built our house. It has been nothing but issues and hundreds of dollars thrown wasted on spoiled food. This fridge comes with and extended warranty because the compressor and cooling system is faulty. Please save yourself the headache and do not buy this product. I have had 3 service calls and waiting on my 4th as I had to empty my fridge out and have to eat out because my fridge doesn’t cool properly. GE hasn’t been much help. I am looking into legal ...

Awesome Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The capacity is great. The cooling is fast, especially with the turbo ice feature. The size is wonderful for the price and it is even more energy efficient that my samsung was. The interior shelving is great, the only down fall is the door shelving, I wish it was more secure and substantial, As we have already had one shelve break.

Quiet and efficient operation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge is quite roomy inside, and the internal space is very well organized on both the fridge and freezer sides, with flexible shelf configuration. The operation is very quiet and the temperature control is excellent. The icemaker is efficient and produces lots and lots of ice. I appreciate the thinner doors and somewhat more slim profile compared with my previous French door fridge.

Not an exceptional refrigerator, but affordable

Ice/water splitter that holds the filtered after six years. That’s on us and KY hard water. Control board and Front Panel died at seven years. No power surge. I have two different monitors for voltage/current plus an expensive surge protector on the unit from the very start. Capacity was good. The baskets in the freezer were awful. Best in class, Quiet, efficient, roomy!

Roomy inside, has enough capacity to add an additional door shelf and interior shelf if needed. Cools evenly, it is whisper quiet, shelves are completely flexible in configuration. GE profile side by side 2nd time around

Would like to see the beverage rack on the fridge door and the small bin on the freezer door on this newer model; seems like we lost both with the new model.

Arrived defective

Incredibly disappointed with the way this refrigerator arrived and even more so with the customer service I've received!! The product arrived with a clear defect on the bottom left of the freezer door. Both Lowes and GE have refused to assist me. I have asked if there is any way to clean, buff, or replace the issue. Would not recommend. This was a large purchase for me and I'm disappointed with the product and customer service.
