Plastic sprayer arm .. flimsy design

Let me start by saying that I wanted to love this machine, but ONE month in and we were already having to replace the sprayer. It is made of plastic and it melts. You can smell it. They replaced the first sprayer . Last night , 9 months later, I start hearing water flood the floor. . The sprayer has melted again and we think it’s allowing too much water to enter the machine. Leaking and Loud

Whisper-Quiet clean with 3rd rack that works!

It runs so quietly that you'll barely know it's on. Garbage Materials Used

The interior materials are complete garbage. Racks do not glide easily and are often off track. Sanitizer or Add Heat settings basically melt the material on the front door. I have an over the stove microwave by GE Profile (which upgrade no longer means anything) that also melted on the outside because they made an OVER THE STOVE microwave out of plastic materials. Do not waste good money on this dishwasher or GE in general. Sadly, we will go with LG or other foreign made appliances from now on...

Overall I would say it does what it's supposed to do, but the build is not as solid as the older model. All of them materials that the racks are made out of are cheaper and quality and not as solid. And the very top rack for small flat items doesn't really seem to do very much at all. Terrible Rack Design

Absolutely the WORST dish racks we've ever had in a dishwasher!!! Both the bottom and middle racks do not hold dishes in place; bowls constantly tip instead of staying in place. Put a normal breakfast of ice cream bowl in the middle rack and it rolls to the side or tips over AND the top knife rack catches on the bowls, tall drinking glass, and wine glasses; all this limits the capacity of the middle rack! I'd be hard-pressed to recommend this GE dishwasher to anyone!

I bought this over the labor day weekend to take advantage of the sale and it has been installed for about 2 weeks. So far, so good. It cleans at least as good but I think better than my old Whirlpool. It is also really quiet. We used to wait until we went to bed to start the dishwasher because of the noise. Now we just start whenever we need to an barely notice its on. Capacity is better for different loads because it is so configurable.

Modern features

Dishwasher is fun again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GE profile dishwasher is a “fun”ctional appliance to my newly remodeled kitchen. Dishwashers do not change much, however the efficiency and quality make for an Excellent value. Cleaning, capacity and convenience all help increase the daily life. Only drawback is settings get accidentally hit when not in use.

Stay Away

Defective unit arrived damaged Received this dishwasher less than a day ago. Multiple issues were immediately apparent: The utensil drawer (3rd rack) wheels are brittle, and the pins the wheels roll on are also brittle. The door sits approximately 1/4 inch too low. The latch never engaged properly, even with firm pressure. The door itself feels flimsy. There is a loose piece with wires floating in the bottom of the unit that I cannot identify — it appears to have come off during shipping. The ...
