Ratings & Reviews for GE 16.6-cu ft Standard-Depth 28-in Wide Top-Freezer Refrigerator ( Bisque ) ENERGY STAR Certified

Mixed review

Saved money on my electric bill- had a fridge that was 18+ years old. BUT, I have a repair person coming to fix a known issue, there is frost forming on the freezer along the door. So that is not great, it is only a handful of months old.

Don't like it

There is only 2 shelves my old Refrigerator had 3, I cannot get what I had in my old one in the new refrigerator accessibly. Capacity seems smaller than my old one as well. The space that the refrigerator takes up is also more than my old one. Lower drawers also do not carry the temperature to well.

Mediocre

Too small, not enough racks, makes a noise, drawers are too small , no warning that if your previous fridge has a water line for Ice that you need to hire a plumber to cap the water line since this fridge has no ice maker.

NICE!

It's a really nice fridge. We're glad it was here when we moved in.

Basic

It's a basic refrigerator. Based on the cubic feet capacity, I thought it would be the same as my previous refrigerator, but this one seems smaller inside. I struggle to fit things. My old one had 3 door shelves vs. 2 in this one and I was also disappointed that it doesn't have a cheese drawer like my other one. All in all, it's just okay. The temperature is good and consistent. The crisper drawers work very well. The freezer is actually a bit more spacious. Even though I can only fit a standard...

Excellent value

Very simple and spacious fridge. Wide open layout leaves tons of room for food. Compressor is a little loud.

GE has WONDERFUL PRODUCTS.

I already love my new refrigerator! I know it will serve me well. I'm sorry I did not learn about GE sooner.

Black and looks great.

Very nice refrigerator/ freezer. Easy assembly and nicely packaged.

FIngers crossed

The fridge is a bit over 2 months old and has started to make a rattling noise. I am going to the dealership this morning since they asked for a video with the noise. Hopefully they will take care of the problem or provide me with a new fridge.

Great Fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great fridge! Sleek and stay cold! The bottom drawers could be a little bigger. I like the way I can move the shelves around to fit my needs. The door shelves have a lot of space and I love that! I think overall this is a great fridge and even better that it is energy efficient.

Good Refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought my second GE refrigerator. My first one lasted almost 19 years. This why I bought my second one; my rating system is simple, three stars, I wouldn’t buy it again. Four stars, I really like the machine, and might buy it again. Five stars, I like it, would recommend it, and did purchase it again.

Spacious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this refrigerator. I live in a small apartment and my other refrigerator was so cramped. This one seems to be the same size but as much more spacious on the inside freezer space and regular compartment.

Tons of room for the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very simple, well built fridge, plenty of room and an option for an ice maker. What else could you want?

Refrigerator thoughts
