Wrong Product, Freezes in Fridge

The online description and photos showed this model as having the ice maker in the freezer with a catch tray. it also shows that it has the water dispenser inside the door, NOT an ice maker and water in the door. This is not what we wanted, and the delivery driver informed us that this was the correct product and we needed to contact Lowe's if we wanted something different. We decided to let it ride. Love it!

Kicking myself for waiting so long to purchase it. I had a side by side before and just hated the lack of space. This GE has a lot of room for all the necessities and more. The door holds a gallon and a half. All your condiments can also be stored on one door shelf. Runs quiet. Love it!

Never buy a GE refrigerator from Lowe's

Ice maker and water dispenser stopped working after 6 days. Now waiting for a warranty service tech to repair this piece of GE refrigerator JUNK

not staying cool with moisture inside.

This model has been purchased by several people i know including my nephew. they have all said they have had issues

Im NOT SATISFIED!!! had the GE REFRIGERATOR one week and the middle drawer in the fridge part FREEZES THE VEGGIES (ITS SET AT THE RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE 37) its a french door bottom freezer,,,my FRIGIDAIRE which i had before then bought this one HAD NOTHING WRONG IN 21 years! this one is a week old and has issues DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BRAND

Installation

Very poor installation. They basically set it in place and plugged it in. Took some outside protective film off but I had to finish and remove tape residue. They said they don't that and call service. Called service and they came out next day. In the mean time I finished cleaning outside and opened doors and all the drawers and shelves were still plastic wrapped. Spent a couple more hours unwrapping and installing drawers and shelves. Freezer stopped working at 14 months

Very disappointed, purchased in April 2025 and freezer stopped working today, $1,800 for 14 months, this is terrible. the way ice maker is set up is bad also, you open freezer door and ice falls out. Getting the filtered water is a pain, have to leave refrigerator door open and then press a button

Love the look of the black ge slate fridge ! Just getting used to having the freezer on the bottom but love having the French doors on the top and seem to ha gained space in the refrigerator area!

Lowe’s did not honor their delivery Was told if I paid an extra $20 fee would be delivered in 48 hours that did not happen then I was told they would credit the $20 a D give me an additional $150 off that did not happen and they still charged me the $20 Lowes goose creek sc was so unprofessional —communication. With employees and warehouse so poor I rate them a 1:2 star
