Very disappointed — serious safety concern

I purchased this GE dishwasher less than a year ago, and during a wash cycle, the lower spray arm became extremely hot and burned/melted. This is very concerning because a dishwasher should not have a component melting during normal operation. The dishwasher is less than a year old, so I did not expect to have an issue like this so soon. I am especially concerned about the potential fire and safety risk associated with a part becoming hot enough to melt. I hope GE will take this issue seriously ...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying this washer. Good capacity for a 2-3 persons and cleaning has been perfect so far. Noise is also very low this was impressive. The drying could have been a bit better I would say.

Cleans well, a bit loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleans well, easy to load. The unit has a plastic tub so expect it to be noisier vs stainless tub models. If you have an open kitchen, I would spend more for stainless tub/quieter model.

Great Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new GE® ENERGY STAR® Top Control with Plastic Interior Dishwasher with Sanitize Cycle & Dry Boost! This model matches our other GE appliances perfectly and thankfully fit into the exact space we had available. We have been very pleased with how quiet it is compared to our very old Asko. It does a much better job cleaning and drying everything so no re-washing like before. I also like the cutlery organizer and the layout of the racks...

Not worth the money

The dishwasher stinks after washing dishes and it brand new. The drying it terrible also

Good value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the dishwasher is good value . It holds a lot of dishes The only drawback could be that it seems to take a long time but when I use the extended dry the dishes came out and there was not a drop of water so I appreciate that.

Garbage

Broken in under 5 years. Not made to last. Can’t find parts for it. Avoid ge appliances spend the extra money and get something better.
