I bought this dishwasher a little over a year ago and the top rack isn’t getting clean. The bottom is and I called GE customer care and since it was 25 days after the one year warranty, they won’t do anything about it. I would not recommend buying this dishwasher. I will not buy another GE brand appliance again.

More perks should be given

For delivery the charge is too high. The delivery should be $50. The take away should be $25. Loyalty.

I bought my GE dishwasher about three weeks ago, the delivery was perfect, right on time and very pleasant delivery men. The dishwasher works great, exactly what we wanted. Overall great experience!

Worked well for the 1st year...until it didn't

No one makes quality anymore. We've had this dishwasher for 4 years and it was slowly breaking down month by month. We had a couple of repairmen come and look at it when after a year it stopped drying our dishes. So now, we use it as storage :/

Looks good on the outside.

I purchased this GE GDT535PYVFS dishwasher in May 2025, and the stainless steel exterior is the only thing I’ve liked about it. The interior is all plastic, including the spray arms, and the whole appliance feels cheaply made. It has only two spray arms, with no additional sprayer at the top. no sturdy

I purchased it to replace a old general electric dishwasher that was much better build than this one. this dishwasher feels cheaper. it has a plastic odor inside and racks are not sturdy like the ones from my old dishwasher

Plastic piece of junk!

I wish I had seen this model in the store first. It was hard to install. The kickplate still hasn’t been installed because the plastic grommets included aren’t long enough. The whole washer is cheaply made and almost all plastic. The bottom rack doesn’t stay on the tracks when pulled out, EVERY. TIME. The loading rack spokes aren’t positioned right, angled and doesn’t hold near the capacity of last washer (GE). There’s always lots of water left after drying, even at the highest drying setting.
