Would Not RecommendThe bulbs have terrible reliability in enclosed fixtures. I put these all over my house and mainly have enclosed fixtures. Almost every single bulb has had to be replaced with some more than once. They just don't seem to last longer than about a year in heavy use areas. Just about the only place I haven't had to replace bulbs are in bathrooms where the lights aren't on for many hours during the day.
