What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this mulch for its fine, finely shredded texture, natural composition, and rich dark brown color. Reviewers consistently highlight the absence of large wood chunks, dyes, and chemical additives, noting it spreads easily and effectively suppresses weeds. Many describe it as professional-grade and superior to coarser alternatives, with the dark tone enhancing garden aesthetics and making plants stand out. While most find the color retains its appeal, a few note it fades gradually over time. Some mention a faint odor upon opening that quickly dissipates. Overall, customers consider this a high-quality, natural mulch ideal for perennials and soil enrichment.

Would RecommendI wantd Black Mulch. The website called the bags Black Pearl Mulch but when I got home and applied it it was dark b/c it was damp but then dried out an its brown. The guy at the register said its coming up brown but I took a pic of the bag and it said Black Pearl Mulch. I REALLY wanted Black mulch but better mulch than the $4/$10. mulch chips
