We ordered this range based on the recommendations from Consumer Reports and a salesman at our local Lowe's. Then I read the reviews here and on Reddit and freaked out with a serious case of buyer's remorse. Had we made a mistake? Had we fallen for the great sale price? Probe min is 140f when a rare steak is 120f just another lame move with this model.

If you open the lid and water comes out from the steam and goes past that line the whole oven shuts off during cooking. My first induction range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I discovered some of my stainless pots weren't magnetic and had to be replaced, and there is a bit of a learning curve, but overall I like the cooktop and oven and am happy with my purchase. There is a seam between the glass cooktop and the vent that is recessed and catches food particles; that really should be flush for ease of cleaning.

Capacitive controls on the cooktop are the worst

Have had this stole for a year. Induction is great. The oven is great. Cooktop controls are the absolute bend of my existence. Seriously, they freak out if they get wet because something spills or because I clean it. There must be a weight sensor because sometimes it will only quite down if I push down on a pan. My cat may walk across the surface at night. In all of these situations it starts beeping for a bit and then cannot be turned back on by any means other than turning the breaker off ...

Induction cooking is nearly gas-like; changes in cooktop “elements” is nearly instantaneous. Also, since it is the pot/pan/skillet that is actually heating up, the glass surface is not getting hot (other than conduction).
