Ratings & Reviews for Fresh Step Outstretch Clumping Cat Litter with Febreze and Activated Charcoal - 19 lb

Ever Fresh is No Good! Bring back Outstretch!

Bring back outstretch! Whatever was done to this formula has made this litter all around awful! Not even joking. I have been using outstretch for 5 years since it first came out and had finally found a good product for my 2 adult male cats. But with Ever Fresh I'm now noticing way more dust. It no longer helps with odor so for the first time ended up having to buy a secondary odor control product. The clumping is different and the clumps fall apart now. There is more tracking outside the box now...

A fresh start for our new cat .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fresh steps is really a good clumping litter and it gives off a slight fresh scent that is better than the odor I had before . My cat really seems to like it , so it’s worth trying it out for a few months.

The stink is back

Outstretch was the best and was recommended to me by another consumer. I've used it for years. The new formulations don't work as well at odor control. I'm ready to switch brands. The change was bad Freshstep.

Outstretch versus Ever fresh

Outstretch works leave it alone no odor afterwards. Only one store in my area carries it now. This other stuff I tried it, nothing in comparison leaves your house with awful odors does not work as well as the Outstretch does .Please go back and change it or I start buying Pretty Litter!!!!!!!!!

Great litter brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good kitty litter. Kept a good smell, easy to clean and it didnt track every where. It lasted a long time felt light weight. Definite recommend.

Fresh step lasts. Just gets messy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 4 rescue cats that I used this litter with. We usually use another variety of the fresh step. This one in particular lasts with freshness but does get really messy. I have to sweep a few times a day at all the litter boxes. But otherwise it does work.

Positive reviews are misleading

Most of the 4-5 star reviews are either a.) because of Outstretch, or b.) astroturfed Ever Fresh reviews because Fresh Step sent people free boxes in exchange for a review. This is not the same as Outstretch. I have no idea what they were thinking. My cat has IBD and smells like a leaking colostomy bag after every bowel movement, this was literally the only litter that kept the smell of my house under control. I'm incredibly frustrated, I don't understand why people can't just leave things alone...

Ever Fresh ≠ Outstretch

This is not comparable to Outstretch at all. The smell of the litter itself is unpleasant. The formula has declined in quality. It does not clump like it used to. One day after using and the litterbox already smells awful. Does not help at all with masking scent. I used to rave about Outstretch to everyone I knew and would always recommend it. Never again. Lost my loyalty.

Fresh all the time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fresh Step EverFresh Cat Litter worked great in our home with two cats. It is lightweight, easy to scoop, and made cleanup much easier than heavier litters. I also did not notice any lingering litter box smell, which is a huge plus with multiple cats. Overall, it performed really well and made daily maintenance simple. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a lightweight, odor-controlling cat litter.

Staple Litter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This litter smells really nice! This is definitely a decently trusted brand I’ve seen as long as your pet is okay with scent. This stuff clumps up SUPER well also! I definitely feel like this is worth it for how much you get too! The packaging always irritated me because it was so heavy, carrying it— I wish it was easier.

Easy to clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my favorite litter for my kitties. It smells fresh, it doesn't stick to their toes, and its clumping ability makes for easy cleaning. My cats do track it all over the bathroom, but its them and not the litters fault.

YOUR SMELL SOLUTION

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fresh Step Ever Fresh was the perfect solution to my SMELLY litter box needs. I can confidently say that I don’t smell my kitty litter box anymore. This litter is one of those cardboard boxes with the plastic handle at the top. It has a little cut out on the side that makes it easy to pour, which is also a nice bonus! It’s been pretty easy maintenance ever since I started using this one with my cat instead of Tidy Cats. I feel like Fresh Step d...

Not truly comparable to OUTSTRETCH.

Recently bought 2 boxes seeing as this is the “new and improved version of OUTSTRETCH”. We’ve used fresh step outstretch for years and even got close friends and family to jump on it. This new product is much more fine and does not do the job for odor control. I’m having to clean up littler outside of box EVERYDAY and changing out the entire thing much more frequently. FRESHSTEP!!!…please bring back outstretch!!!!! I will not be purchasing this litter again.

Love this litter a must buy

I bought this liter like two months ago and I can’t believe I didn’t sooner . I have used all different kinds of liter and I hated that I could always smell the cat box in the house. The recent liter I was buying they stopped making and I am SO HAPPY that I tried Fresh Step Ever Fresh . The scent is not over powering and is actually pleasant , I can’t smell the liter box on any level of my house even my husband says the same thing , the cat doesn’t smell like her box when she comes out. I wish I...

Fresh Step

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fresh Step Ever Fresh is a must- have for maintaining a truly clean and fresh-smelling home. The absorption is incredible, and the clumping makes cleaning the litter box fast and effortless, which I love. It does a fantastic job of neutralizing odors immediately, so my space always feels inviting. It’s low-dust and very reliable- definitely the standard for keeping high-vibration, organized household running smoothly!

Handy to have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kitty litter is much finer than I expected. It's very sandy in texture so I was nervous that there would be a lot of waste kicked out or scooped out, but it clumps very nicely (if you can use "nicely" to describe litter products lol). There isn't a lot of tracking or mess outside the litter box. It is a Febreze scent but not overpowering at all. I do wish the box had a better dispenser but the side punch out will have to work for now. I...

Average

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty good cat litter, not my favorite but it’s solid. The odor protection is pretty good but it’s just pretty dusty and I wish it wasn’t. My cats had no issues with this litter at all and it was decent for scooping. Again, could be better but the clumping was okay.

worth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the picture is the best we are gonna get lol. i like how this litter clumps, and the smell really is fresh! no dust, which is important to me. my only problem is the litter itself is so small that it gets stuck in his paws easily!

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best cat litter! I works so well, it hides the smell really good, & it’s honestly the best I have ever tried. It’s easy to store because of the box shape.
