Would Recommendname brand has worked well for me in the past. have other tools by this company. I have not used this new blade yet. have 2 tree limb trimmers as the older one is original blade of over 20 yrs am expecting a big boost in the cut. there are 2 different blades one has a hook on end used for sucker limbs etc. used for pruning items like fruit trees but if just doing bigger limbs would go for the aggresive straight blade.

Would Not RecommendReceived a package 10 days after order with nothing in it. Package was badly taped so blade fell out or was taken out. Agent told me I had to go to credit card company to ge reimbursed. Note that it means that Lowes shifted responsibility for their screw up to my bank which generally absorbs small dollar disputes.

Would RecommendI have used a Fiskars extension pruner for 2 years and the blade had gotten too dull to cut anything but the softwoods such as pine. This replacement blade was the exact match for my pruner and for under $20 restored my pruner to a just bought, original condition. The blade is fully hardened to power through the toughest branches such as oak. I love the hooked end design, which keeps the blade in the cutting groove and prevents slipping. Highly recommended.
