Would RecommendI cut a lot of wood yearly and needed a good sharpener to keep a good edge on my axes. This does the job with ease.

Not for your average sized axe

It sharpens as well as any expensive brands sharpener but with fiskars brand the price is always a PowerPoint because their prices are so low. I do need to point out ,however, that this is not for your normal sized axe sharpening but actually for a kitchen knife sized axe instead. all in all this sharpener serves it's purpose well. Jt

Small sharpener that packs a punch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sharpener is nice because of its compact size. It’s easy to store and doesn’t take up much space. I was able to successfully use this to sharpen our axe as well as some other tools and it worked really well. It was easy to glide the blade through the ceramic sharpeners and it made the tools like new. I’d recommend this if you need a sharpener.

Didn't work
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product to test from Influenster in return for my honest review. Overall, the concept is great, but efficiency was lacking. I attempted to sharpen my hatchet and it didn't seem to sharpen at all. We did it according to the packaging but hatchet remained dull.

Very handy!

(For the photo to show all of the info on the package, I just set the sharpener on top of the package) But this is very compact so it would be very easy to take camping/hiking. Its so versatile I recommend that everyone have a knife sharpener. I also want to mention that this brand is very reputable for our family. We have many of their products and never experienced disappointment.
