What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these detectors for straightforward installation, 10-year battery life, and integrated smoke and carbon monoxide protection. Most highlight hassle-free replacement into existing brackets without rewiring, eliminating the need for annual battery changes. Many value the dual-sensor safety feature and spoken alerts. The hardwired design with battery backup provides strong peace of mind. A few report mounting bracket compatibility issues with certain older units, and some mention sensitivity concerns, but these represent a small fraction of feedback. Would RecommendI bought this a month ago and it works great!

I bought a few of these and they were easy to install and worked fine. However they all went bad within first 4-6 months of service (5 quick chirps/minute). Seems like the internal circuit boards were faulty after a few months and it couldn’t register AC power. Apparently a “10 year” battery dies within months without AC. Design seems a little strange to not allow easy 9V battery replacement. Also is strange that battery powered First Alert detectors (not hardwired) seem to work fine for years w...
Simple to install
I replaced an eight year old Carbon Monoxide and Smoke alarm.

Only 1 of 5 is fully attached. Difficult to twist the alarm onto the mounting bracket. Alarms are hanging from the mounting bracket because I can't just easily twist the alarm onto the bracket. May return them for a different brand. A total waste of time and money.

Lasted less than a YEAR
Would Not RecommendDetector was purchased on August 1st 2025 and installed immediately in my rental property. I needed something that lasts a long time so myself or my tenants don't have to constantly replace batteries. Detector failed on July 17th 2026! It turns out it is at the end of of its life already! 🤦

10 years battery and hardwired detector
Would RecommendThis item was a replacement to my previous one same brand and model that actually provided the exact time of safety use which was 20 years. By buying the same brand I was able to plug and go to previous hardware mounted. I will continue to purchase this product and recommend it to others.
