Poor redesign

I have had this fan on a sloped ceiling for 10 years! Now the manufacturer decides to put a receiver at the top of the fan that you have to wire in. Previously you had two wires due to the receiver being in the fan housing already wired. Now on new models you have to make 7 plus connections to wire the receiver for the fan to work. Not to mention they now want you to buy a sloped ceiling bracket due to the receiver having to be mounted at the base were the fan hangs. That is almost as much as th...

Junk

Remote broke after a year. The company will only provide replacement parts if you bought it directly from them. You cannot talk to a human for support; the AI assistant hangs up on you. Terrible product and terrible customer service. Do not buy!

Best fan ever.

We bought the fan for our outdoor patio 3 months before Hurricane Ian & we took a direct hit on one of the barrier islands in SW Fl. It looks a little rough now but everything works perfectly to this day now 4+ years later. Being a DYI guy, the fan was easy to install. Bought a 2nd for our bedroom.

We bought this for our new patio covering and it is exactly what we wanted. My wife is happy with it because she did a lot of research on different fans with different companies. The remote does have a little flaw in it. You have to hold down the "up" and down" level for the speed of the fan for awhile before it works properly.

Keith is one of the best helper at Lowes store #2702, located at 37051 Hwy 27, Haines City, FL 33844. He went out of his way to help me by answering all my questions about this fan, and also brought this heavy box from the top of the rack and put it in my cart. He also help me to pay this heavy item at the cash register nearby. I have bought tens of thousands dollars worth of products from Lowes over the years.

Not working, Remote is horrible

Bad fans not durable

I’ve had this fan for about 3 years and few months. The fan looks nice and does provide a powerful air flow. However it’s set up with the remote and buttons under the back cover are not user friendly. I am told mine stopped working because the receiver is bad, $70 for new receiver. That part should be covered and replaced by the warranty. I’m considering stopping shipment of the receiver and buying a Hunter fan that will last for 15-20 years with plug strings that are dependable and was to use....

never right

These fans are junk. Have NEVER worked right since purchase. Replaced one under warranty - still not right. The remotes are total JUNK. System is too complicated. I'm taking them down and will buy another brand.

Outstanding Fan, Inexcusable Remote Failure

Five stars for the fan. One star for the remote. The fan is quiet, efficient, and looks fantastic. But twice a year, when it's time to reverse the direction, the remote becomes pure garbage. The light works. Normal operation works. Reversing the fan is an unnecessarily complicated, frustrating process that often feels like a guessing game. A premium fan deserves a premium remote, and this one simply isn't.

Beautiful fan, PITA to install.

As the headline says. Im not a pro but have installed about 30 fans in my lifetime. Anyhow this was the longest, tedious install Ive ever had the displeasure of doing. The fan itself is beautiful and I cannot stop starring at it! The stainless steel with black blades version is even nicer but Im going for all black look. Maybe next time. As far as performance, the remote can take some time getting used to it as it works on clicks not holding down the button. Well at least se features do. I ...

Save your money

Bought this fan on a Friday, made sure everything was wired correctly and within 4 hours it just quit working. Went back out to Lowe’s and bought a different switch thinking it was going to be a simple fix… wrong. Have spent the weekend trying to figure out why it’s not working when everything is connected properly, new switch, wires are good. Overall, save your money and don’t bother.

This is the 16th fan of this model. They just work flawlessly.

LASTED LESS THAN A YEAR

No Fanimation product ever again. I have about 11 other ceiling fans in my home. They were put in in 2009. Hunter fans. They all still work. This 72” Fanimation fan was installed in our garage and didn’t make it past a year. So disappointed.

Making noises

I have had this fan for over 3 years and it has worked great. lately it has started making loud noises. It appears to be somewhere between the fan and light kit. I wish I knew what to do to fix the noise.

Installing the Slimger V2 is a botch, you got it!

With the help of Cliff I was able to get why I wanted and there was a discrepancy in the price advertised but Cliff not only got the heavy box for us old ferts but he followed us to the cashier and made the adjustment and instructed Alexia to give us the discounted price, she was very nice as well. Cliff rocks!
