What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this calcium chloride ice melt for its exceptional speed and concrete safety. Most highlight rapid ice melting even at -25°F, with many noting they hear ice cracking as it activates. Reviewers consistently emphasize it doesn't damage driveways or sidewalks like rock salt does, making it ideal for protecting concrete. Many appreciate its pet-friendly formula and reliable performance in extreme cold. A small number mention higher cost compared to alternatives and request smaller bag sizes, but these concerns are far outweighed by satisfaction with core performance and durability benefits.

Would RecommendI use this as a hydrophobic like damp rid and it works great
This Ice Melt left oily residue on the driveway and garage floor. It has dissipated mostly, but there was some residue that got on black mats that were in the garage and those stains have not faded. Would not recommend.
Great product for pool water hardness
Would RecommendI bought this ice melt product for pool water hardness. I bought in the spring when it had already been top shelfed for the season. Thanks to Logan and Gustavo (Kansas City North Store at the Boardwalk) for being timely in securing a fork lift and getting the product for me. They were very efficient, friendly, and helpful.
