Would RecommendGreat little hatchet and mallet for the campsite. It comes very sharp. I sliced off a good bit of skin the first time I used it. I recommend some sturdy leather gloves when using this tool for cutting kindling. I use welding gloves for tending the fire and (usually) while cutting wood. You can't get better than Estwing. I love it.

Incorrect Listing- Splitting Tool
Would RecommendThe Title states Camp Axe but the photo shows a Splitting Tool. I only discovered this after I ordered the item under the belief that I was purchasing the camp axe but received the splitting tool. The item when delivered was also left out in the rain in a random place on my driveway nowhere near the front door or back door.

Would RecommendThere are multiple scuffs in the paint of them indicating the item was used, at least on the hammer end. The axe blade didn't appear blemished, so maybe someone in the store used the hammer end? Maybe scuffed from being on the shelves for too long? There was lots of dust as well. I kept it because for the price (it was a DotD) and when I use it it'll get scuffed anyways.
