What Customers Are Saying
The gas cooktop offers a mix of positive and negative feedback. Customers praise its attractive design, affordable price, and overall functionality, highlighting features like the different burner sizes, quick heating, and easy installation and cleaning. However, some report issues with the burners, including inconsistent ignition, limited flame control, and occasional gas leaks. A few also note concerns about the quality and durability of the materials over time. The cooktop seems to provide good value for the price, but may have some performance limitations compared to higher-end models.
Customer review summary generated by AI, including incentivized reviews. My previous cook top stopped working. Had a difficult time finding a replacement because I have an older home and could not have the "recessed" style. I would've had to have my kitchen redone. Thank you Empava. Fit great, cooks great and I like the options of different burners providing different cooking levels. Looks great with my current appliances. If you need a new cooktop, but have limited space, highly recommend.
Works Great with LP (propane) Gas!!
Would RecommendThere are many things I like about this cooktop! Low profile depth. The fact they supply BOTH Natural Gas & LP conversion nozzles!! Also like that they supplied new gas regulator - also convertible to LP. The regulator didn't need "adjustment" for the proper gas type but you do need to flip an internal rod but it's very simple. What I didn't like was the instructions to do the regulator conversion weren't quite as clear as I would have liked. Better description and diagram or pictures would have...

Less expensive does not always mean less quality!
Would RecommendThe stove top is quality. It’s quiet and also beautiful for a great price!. So far I love it!
Temperamental burner assemblies
Would RecommendThe first unit didn't work after installation and I waited two weeks on shipping for the replacement. It's very attractive but the burners are temperamental. The crowns have to be placed just so, or the burners won't light even though gas is coming up. Took awhile to figure that out.
No accessories available
Would Not RecommendLowes sells this item but does not offer any of the necessary fittings, hoses, or regulator specifically for this item. I tried the hose and regulator from another gas cooktop that I have but it almost caused an explosion. When viewing the item online, there are no links or mentions of ability to purchase correct hose and fittings specifically for this item. So with all that drama and headache and still not able to make the thing work, it is not worth the effort. I am considering returning thi...
Reduce space
Would Not RecommendIt's very small for 5 burners you can only use it for 3 pots max at the same time nothing else fit, and the knobs in front take up a lot of space, other than that the stove works very well.
