Really great battery chain saw
My old electric chain saw was from another manufacturer and used an extension cord. It had a hard time cutting 3-4” pieces of wood which was frustrating. I used my new EGO battery chain saw one afternoon and significantly added to my wood pile cutting 10” tree stumps easily. We have a rental house and store our chain saw inside so a gasoline powered saw wasn’t appealing. The battery fully charged in less than one hour.

I bought this to replace my power cord chain saw that stopped working and it is every bit as good as a gas powered chain saw - even better because when you stop using it, it does not continue to run AND it cuts like butter!

GOOD SAW
Would RecommendI bought my first one a little over 2 years, works great just have to limit how many cuts to make and then let it rest before making more cuts. that keeps to blade and bar from over heating and will last longer. its started making a growling noise and checked every thing out but it stop running after 1 second . So I bought another saw and when i went to register it I saw that my first one had a warranty , so I called and it was determined that it couldn't be repaired so the tech put it in to se...

Works great cutting and cleaning up after the work
I had the EGO CS1600 and this newer model seems to be much more powerful and cuts great. It is easier to remove the guard, bar and chain then put it back together to clean up after doing any cutting than the older one.
