What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this battery-powered chainsaw for exceptional power, lightweight design, and ease of use. Most highlight its suitability for light to moderate yard tasks like pruning and tree cleanup, noting it outperforms expectations with quiet operation, zero emissions, and minimal maintenance compared to gas models. The ergonomic balance enables one-handed maneuvering and extended use without fatigue. Reviewers strongly appreciate tool-free chain tensioning, automatic oiling, and fast charging. A few report minor sawdust buildup requiring occasional cleaning and note battery life limits for heavy-duty projects. Despite these small drawbacks, most customers consider it an excellent, convenient alternative to traditional models.

An amazing little saw!
Would RecommendI had been using one of the "Big Orange" battery-powered top-handle saws for limbing, with endless frustration with short battery life and stalling in cold weather. Eventually the Big Orange saw died, so I decided to try the EGO 12". What a great little saw! As powerful as the Big Orange saw with more battery life and no problem in cold weather, all at half the price! Bonus: the lanyard clip is in the perfect location.
