I have upgraded to the ecobee pro. The delivery came sooner than expected. After unboxing and reading the information provided, I also YouTube an instruction video to help ensure a proper installation. The instructions is straightforward but make sure you take a picture of the wiring on your old thermostat before removing to use as a reference. Following the on screen instructions made it very easy to follow and even corrected me after placing one of the wires in the wrong location.(my fault) So...

Some use cases actually cost you money!!

Temp algorithms that pre heat/cool a room when the schedule changes can be bugged out if you also change the number of sensors used to calculate the current temperature in the house. For example, if your bedrooms are cooler than the rest of the house. Upgrading my thermostat

I have had an Ecobee 3 lite for some time already. Was looking to upgrade and improve my Ecobee experience. So took advantage of their sale foe earth day and got me the thermostat with voice control. Is definitely and improve, even though I am still getting use to it. I have several Alexa hubs around the house so knowing in the command was heard from the thermostat or not is nor too easy. Great for short term purchase

Purchased an ecobee unit in 2011 with wifi capabilities. It’s 2024 and it still works great. Got an email this week from ecobee saying they are no longer providing wifi service to my unit because it is too old. Offered me 30% discount on a new unit. No thanks. If you guys like spending your hard earned money on temporary hardware then ecobee is for you. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Love our smart thermostat

I've been using Ecobee thermostats for five years and never had any issues. The combination of the thermostat and the smart or room sensors is great for being able to control the temperature in one area of the house. I usually just use the room sensor in our bedroom at night for an optimal sleeping temperature. The smart features are great as well and we noticed savings on our electricity and natural gas bills. Would highly recommend it.

stupid thermostat

this is the worst thermostat ever do not buy it. when your hot it blows cold when it’s cold it blows hot. TERRIBLE!!!!!!

Nice Alexa Wi-Fi thermostat!

Though I had a heck of a time setting it up with a heat pump, it finally proved to be very nice. (Had trouble getting help until I kept at it and finally, Wahla!

My Ecobee is NOT a 4 star product!

Had the Ecobee installed professionally when we installed a new HVAC and furnace about 15 months ago. It constantly goes offline and the only way to reset it is to pull it off the wall and reinsert it. It also doesn't accurately measure the temperature. Right now it is saying it is 4 degrees higher than the actual temperature. Furnace won't run until it drops another 4 degrees. I wish it didn't cost so much to have the HVAC company replace it because I would change it out in a heart beat!

Sensor stopped working

The sensor stopped working after only 3 years. I expected it to last much longer based on how much it cost.

Ecobee Talking Thermostat - Best Ever Features

This is excellent. Has Alexa built in and also allows for extra sensors so that I can control the cool / hot spots throughout my home. Easy to install and if you run into trouble the call line technicians are great to work with.

This is my second one, easy to install and control from your phone, I am sold on their brand
