I purchased this unit in March of 2022. In October of 2024 the control board went out due to mice getting in. I ordered a new board from Ductless Aire which cost me $400. Now it is not even a year later and that board has blown for some unknown cause (yes I have a quality surge protector on it). The company website no longer stocks the part and I have no idea where I'll find it.

Would Not RecommendWorked great for 3 months. Then our power went out and it burnt the Control Box. Now there are no replacement parts available. They update their inventory every Friday so you have to just keep checking hoping one will come in. Make sure you have a surge protector installed on the unit and a source for parts before you purchase.

After looking at many different brands and the reviews from each, I decided to purchase this system through Lowe’s. Lots of Issue
Would Not RecommendHad to replace the control board after an about a year at the tune of $500 and a lot of my time. Then needed a new head unit for another $500. And now it is still leaking refrigerant. Company does not have any more head units to fix it so have to buy a new mini split after about 4 years. I would recommend staying far away!

Nice Unit but Difficult install
Would Not RecommendOverall, the unit seems to be part of a good kit. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this as the line set is so extremely stiff that it kinks before it bends nicely. I now have to have an AC technician trim and flare the lineset (if possible) since just unrolling and running the line made 3 kinks. Luckily these are semi close to the ends.

Great Mini Split Unit
Would RecommendThis mini split was very simple to install. The instructions were clear and I was able to install it over the weekend while running doing other things around the house. I got a quote from an HVAC company to provide an install a 2 ton mini split and they quoted me $8k total. I was able to put this in myself for under $2k. The wifi component was a must for me and it works great. Its blowing cold air just as expected during this hot summer.

Would RecommendWe have had this unit for 2-years - Runs GREAT - We love it except for one minor problem.- When the set temp is reached, the power needed does not cut back properly. Such as, today, set at 70 degrees, cools fine and drawing 1,000 watts. If I shut the unit OFF and turn it back on, the unit draw is 100 watts to maintain 70 degrees.

It was installed by a licensed AC technician and it is running very good. Both indoor and outdoor units are running silently, I have to touch the machine to feel that it is actually running. So far so good and it cooling my enclosed patio exceeding my expectations. I highly recommend this equipment, I saved a lot
