terrible unit and manufacturer

Full Disclosure of warranty limitations is Lacking

After receiving the product, I learned that if I self-install, Ductless Aire will not honor the warranty. I understand the reasoning- the install is somewhat complex and proper functioning of the unit is dependent upon proper installation. However, Lowes should make this warranty limitation clear when ordering. That said, I had a successful install, and the unit is operating great. So far, I am very pleased with the product.

This AC packs a big punch for such a small system. It is super quiet both inside and outside. It has been a life saver this summer, it keeps it super cold. I have no complaints and I highly recommend this AC. I have not had it long enough to have to run the heat, but I did turn the heat on to see how well it runs and it is just as powerful. I am completely satisfied with this unit.

Great value, good cooling.

Installed by an HVAC tech. Cooled the space in minutes. Only in 3 days so cannot speak to longevity (or heat feature) but so far so good.

Wish I did this a long time ago!

This mini split replaced a 27,000 btu thru the wall unit and in my opinion keeps the entire middle floor of the house cooler and dryer. It's so whisper quiet both inside and out. Its so nice to be able to hear a conversation over an A/C. Spend some time going over the remote and its features. It's fairly easy to learn. The wifi is a nice feature. So far i have zero issues or cons, and overall Im very pleased.

I have two mini splits for my 1250sq ft house

I bought two 18k BTU mini splits for my 1250 sqft house and it does amazing in summer time, it's 95 and above in Texas and keeps my house cold at 68 degree at medium fan speed & winter time keeps warm untill temperature drops below 20 degrees, after that I gotta put a electric blanket over so it can " defrost " faster

So far so good, blasts out hot or cold and heats up our ADU.

Wish it was pre-charged as advertised.

This unit did NOT come pre-charged as stated in the description. I do like that this has an app to operate it. The unit is in a pool house so this allows us to turn the unit on/off from the house.

Great Product

Just had the ductless aire installed and it is working well. Wifi feature is great, and is easy to control with the app.

mini split air conditioner

mini split has been installed and working for one week now. it's been working great, keeping my home warm when it was 4 degrees outside. warranty papers won't make even bad toilet paper. Will see how the product holds up. bought it from Lowe's but I don't think that I would buy Ductlessaire again

Easy of install

Never installed one, and the directions were easy to follow, ended up buying 2, the price was good also.

loved this model for my 900 square feet home space

I installed this in half my house of 900 Sq space, really cools it down alot, i love it, does take some handy work installing it but over all worth it

Not bad!

So far a good unit for the price. Installation wasn't horrible, although it took a little longer than expected....but all projects are like that. I will need a secondary unit to get down the to temp I want, but this is keeping my space livable!

HEAT is fine...as long as it's not cold out!! unit was rated at 900 sq ft , i've got 600 & it can't keep up if it's much below 32 degrees...NOT impressed!
