Would Not RecommendI have owned this for several years with light, now and then use. Buyer beware that Dremel uses cheap plastic switches that fail. You would think that for the cost of this tool, they would source a part that doesn't so consistently give out. If I had designed or sold this, I would be ashamed of myself. A simple internet search will tell you how common this problem is.

Governor failure
Would Not RecommendThe variable governor is of poor design. Debris will settle on circuit board and short if out. No replacement part. Same for the mm35 model. If I would known this to be the case I would have taken cover off and blew off the debris on circuit board after each use.

Would Not RecommendThere is a fault in the oscillating speed selector which causes the RPMs to run away/max at random times. Dangerous. I'm hoping this is a fault with just this machine as it could be a good product.

Great Tool...I didn't know I needed
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had considered this type of tool for some time. I finally pulled the trigger. First use was to cut off the extra long screws that hold my toilets in place. I cut them smoothly and easily. I have since used the tool many time. It is POWERFUL!

Poor Craftsmanship
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought not even 2 months ago, and the power switch is already broken. (Not user abuse!) The same thing happened on a much cheaper GalaxPro model, and I thought Dremel would be better. Sending it in for service and hoping Dremel *will* be better.

Easy of use!

It’s a little slow compared to a dedicated powered saw but it does the job and as far as sanding it does great. I love that it has variable speeds and it has plenty of power to get through all kinds of materials. The lock system is a little slower than some quick release systems but I like this one.
