stay away if you wanna be street legal.

I thought I bought a utility trailer. What I've got is a yard ornament. The trailer is unregisterable with the DMV given the provided paperwork, which consists exclusively of a 'Certificate of Origin' for an 'unassembled kit' out of a factory identified only as "JINHUA ZHEJIANG CHINA"... All of this after having spent 8 hours to assemble it...initiating legal proceedings. I've left leaving 1 star b/c at least it won't rust.

pretty and durable trailer

I bought this one. It's a pretty and durable trailer. Is there way I can add a compatible drive-up gate to this trailer? Thanks.

Quality

It feels sturdy. Good construction but difficult directions. Give your self time. I wish they out the socket size to help. You’ll need a torque ratchet to put the wheel lug nuts. It does not come with a trailer jack, spare wheel, hitch/pin locks. These are necessary accessories and part which needed to be purchased separately. Registration was a ok at the dmv. I did not get any incentive for this review, but I would accept a load up ramp for my time you know.

Nice trailer as advertised. Seems high-quality and well built. Fairly easy to assemble.

Exactly as advertised and what I needed

Exactly what I needed. This was just like advertised, easy to assemble, no parts missing and worked as expected on its maiden voyage. Instr8coild be a little clearer and would be nice if hardware was in a pack then would label each part.

Galvanized DK2 trailer

Great trailer, easy to put together. I did it myself in under 3 hours, though i needed help to turn it over. Directions are not so good but found online a video on how to put it together.

I paid for Lowe’s delivery because I had no way to get it home otherwise. They dropped it onto a platform on casters which let me store it in my garage until I had time to assemble. The installation process was pretty straightforward. My kit references selftapping screws but it appears assembly is different now (bolts). I originally thought the screws were missing. I would recommend watching a video on how the trailer is put together, at least for the part where it is flipped. Lowe’s deliver...

Trailer delivered. Includes Certificate of Origin from Chinese factory. Take to AZ DMV. “Sorry factory needs to sign off”. Call store. “Sorry we can’t help you. We didn’t sell you the trailer.” Wrong. I walked in and sat at pro desk. Your staff pulled up and took my credit card (new commercial account). “Sorry. Can’t help. Try calling the factory.” In description it should clearly describe the process for your state for getting title. And to deny you sold me the trailer is just insulting. BTW t...

Tag plate position

I love this trailer and have used it for many varied trips. I don't use the incline feature much but did a couple of times recently and noted that because the tag plate hangs off the rear light fitting, the tag gets crushed when the trailer inclines! Having straightened it a couple of times before I figured it wasn't me bumping in to things, I've removed it pending identifying a better location. Over to you DK2!

Versatile trailer

Found this to be a very well built trailer. Assembly was quite easy. Tracks behind my Jeep Wrangler really good.

Ship via someone else other than Estes Trucking.

The product is awesome the shipping company sucked. They failed to deliver it twice so I had to pick it up my self. The person at the delivery company was also not very customer friendly. Over all I would never chose Estes trucking to ever ship anything for me in the future.

Sturdy built trailer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 4.5x7.5 galvanized trailer over a year and a half ago. Solid sturdy trailer yet some of the welds leave a little to be desired (sloppy). The galvanized part of the trailer has held up great since it was hot dipped and shows no signs of rust. I would recommend it to anyone in need of a trailer this size.

Great Trailer, very practical, withstands weather

The assembly was easy. I had a part that was broken in transport and support helped resolved it quickly. It is very useful for hauling materials as I do not have a truck for now. I was concerned outside wear and it stands humidity, rain etc. wonderfully.

Love my DK2 Trailer

I bought this trailer about two years ago. The galvanized panels and frame have no signs of breaking down.own from corrosion. Even after having hauled dozens and dozens of loads. Everything from topsoil, gravel, landscaping pavers etc.. One thing I would recommend is to check the wheels for wheel bearing adjustment on a regular basis I had a wobble in the trailer at a certain speed and traced it back to a loose bearing. I bought this several years ago.  I specifically wanted a galvanized trailer, and when I saw this one I bought it, and I’m glad I did.  I see so many painted steel trailers that after only a few years. I was disappointed that there was a lot of extra slag, and many sharp spots

Good But Could Be Better

The trailer, when assembled, is fine for a trailer of it's size. It raddles a lot, but that is because it tilts and has moving sides. My only problem is that that was lots of extra slag from the casting process, and sharp edges from nicks. Buy it, but remember that you have to assemble it, sand the burrs, and hammer the extra slag out of hole for the bolts.
