Ratings & Reviews for DEWALT 68000 -BTU Outdoor Portable Propane Heater

Good product. Bad delivery from FedEx

Great product. Great name. But sending emails at 4:40 am and 6:30 am needs to stop. Need to stop using FedEx to deliver packages. Said it would be delivered on Monday didn't get here until Thursday. FedEx is always late delivering and leaving packages where animals can get them is also a problem with FedEx.

Be careful around children.

Works as advertised; no issues

Great!

Tried other brands of propane heaters and this was the best one by far. It’s much more quieter than the rest which was a big plus for me.

Works better than expected.

Ran for 6 hours on a 4ah battery and was still going strong when we were through. Easy to move and set up. Great heat output and glad it's adjustable since we needed to turn it down after an hour.

Oh, wow at work

It worked

Can't go wrong with this 68,000 btu

I love that i can use the battery I already had from my dewalt drill and it puts out a lot of heat in my 2 car garage. Its a little pricey but Dewalt is a repreridal company I trust.

Easy to use, relocate, and very strong heat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy setup.. I was able to carry it around easily as well. It’s a strong heater for its size, my dad was able to use it to heat up his auto shop during cold nights with no issues. Safe to use it will automatically turn off at desired temperature. I’d recommend this to anyone who needs to heat up a relatively large space with a small portable heater

Lightweight portable heater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy, convenient, compact to warm up on chilly or fall days. It’s lightweight and easy to carry. I like how it can be plugged up but also run on battery with the propane tank. It puts out good warmth!

Lightweight and puts out quite a bit of heat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used and repaired an assortment of these types of heaters, I've seen the good and the had. The packaging was very well put together. There was minimal assembly required. The very first thing I noticed when plugging in the battery was the very snug fit. I used an old battery, and it still fit very tight, so that's why I deducted a star. It was very easy to start up, and the blower wasn't nearly as loud as I thought it would be. The temper...

Easy to use, lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heater works great, I connected to a 20# propane tank and ran it for about 10 minutes in a refrigerated trailer work. The temp definitely jumped very quickly. I used both a battery and an extension cord. I wasn't able to notice a difference in power between the two. The heater is extremely easy to put together out of the box, four screws on top, then just connecting the main line on the back. Getting it to fire up was easy enough, the inst...

The portability allows you to use it in any location.

Variable control allows you to adjust the amount of heat output to be between 27,000 and 68,000 BTU'S to keep the area you're working in very comfortable. Battery life is very good, keeps burning for hours. Built-in safety features make it worry free. Looks to be ve...

Great Heater!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this in my garage and it heats it up fast! It really kicks out the heat and it’s adjustable as well so will turn it down a bit after the garage is warmed up. I love that it has a compact design and very portable. It’s not to heavy and starts easily. I used mine plugged in with an extension cord but love that it has the option for battery also. Overall a great heater with the quality I would expect from Dewalt.

High Heat Output

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The heat output from this propane heater is great. This heats up a large room in no time. We used this to heat our two stall garage that has no heat. We’ve also tried this out as a heat source while sitting on our deck in the cooler weather. It’s amazing how much heat comes from this. Extremely quiet. Love the versatility of using the battery or electric outlet. Lightweight and easy to transport. Had no problem with the starter.

Great to have on job site on in garage

I has a lot of heat output and doesn't take forever to heat a room. Comes with good safety features to keep everyone safe as long as they follow the safety percussion.

Perfect sized heater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed with the heat output, it seems to be working perfect! It’s small enough to move around or carry. This is perfect for an indoor settings because of the safety features.

Worth the buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hasn’t been cold enough I. Louisiana to use but the build quality is great and the fact it uses big propane bottles is pretty great. Not at all bad for what it is and at 68000 btu in sure it’s gonna work pretty well for a small space.

Great Fathers Day Gift

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Heat output and portability can’t be beat! Absolutely durable and can be used in the garage, driveway or basement. The battery life is great. Great dad gift.
