terribly inaccurate

I bought this for high end trim. rite out of the box I could not get accurate 45° cuts. I thought it was me so I went out bought a new 90T blade and all the equipment to check how square it was. after dialing it in PERFECTLY square it still wont cut 45. in a 1x12 trim board the 45 cut is out 1/16th"

Nice professional saw

Very nice saw. Cutting capacity is outstanding, accuracy is perfect, it was cutting square out of the box. Matched with the heavy-duty stand the stability is great. The precision when doing trim work is amazing. Just an over great saw.

Just what I needed

Bought this to finish the trim in my newly remodeled bathroom. Can’t wait to do more projects around the house!

Beast Mode Achieved

I’ve been really impressed with the DEWALT DWS780. It’s powerful, extremely accurate, and easy to use, whether I’m making quick cuts or working on more detailed projects. The shadow line is a huge plus and makes lining up cuts fast and precise without having to rely on a laser. Everything about this saw feels solid and well thought out. It has quickly become one of my favorite tools and has definitely taken my woodworking shop into “Beast Mode!”

Super accurate

My husband and I got this miter saw because we needed to construct a board and batten wall. The laser shadow helped so much with the accuracy of our cuts, especially for corner cuts and was super precise. Visibility of the line of cutting was excellent and no problems. We were able to make this extra stable by attaching to a miter saw stand. The capacity to tackle multiple projects with one tool is really nice. We will be using this for future projects.

Shadow Light

Bought this a month ago and so happy I did. Big upgrade with the shadow light and double bevel.

7 Years & Still Going

I bought this 7 years ago with the mobile stand. I’ve used it for anything from rough framing to cabinetry. The light that casts the blade shadow for cut guide can be seen clearly and lets me make precise cuts no matter what blade I have on it. I highly recommend this tool.

Precision cuts

This really saved me as during my bathroom remodel my old miter saw went out so I purchased this dewalt and now realized how much better this saw is compared to my old saw. My precision cuts are so much more accurate. This saw really saved me during my remodel.
