Powerful and easy to use

Really impressed with this jigsaw. It has plenty of power, feels comfortable in hand, and the variable speed control made detailed cuts much easier. The keyless blade change is quick and convenient too.

This tool works very well.

This jigsaw allows even a beginner to make accurate cuts. I love the feature of the adjustable speed.

Blade retainer fails x 2

The blade holder keeps failing. I bought a replacement and it too failed.

No blade

You would think that when buying a saw it would come with a blade. Nowhere on the packaging or in the instructions does it say that the blade was not included. The last jigsaw I bought came with a blade, so I assumed this would be the same case. I drove an hour round trip to buy this saw because my old one went missing and I was in the middle of a project. Got home and can’t even use it. Very disappointed.

Tough tool.

I'm a hobbyist and have used this jig saw every weekend for the past several months. Our It has fallen from my work bench area quite a few times and this thing is tough. I always check the blade to see if the t-shank has loosened from the clasp... it never does. Operates smooth. The variable angle and variable speed functions help customize my work for each new task.

Should have paid attention to the one star reviews

Got the saw home and right away noticed all the slop in the blade shaft and roller assembly, installed blade and started cutting and the blade does not stay in the roller guide resulting in the worst looking cut , not square and all over the place. Went right back to Lowes and returned it for a cheaper Craftsman 6 amp. You would not believe the difference! Blade stays straight and in the roller groove, just a better made product than the Dewalt, would have never thought that.

I’m completely satisfied with the price.

Easy to use, I really like the variable speed, plus it easy to load.

Had this for about a year now and the dang thing keeps irritating me. Ain’t got the common problem of the blade statin in the roller but it’s the hold button placement. I’m right handed and my thumb manages to hit that button dang near every time I use this thing. Always gotta hit the trigger twice to get it to stop. I like the saw just fine, but, if I’d known I was gonna have to hit the trigger twice every time to shut it off I’d have bought something else.

Quality issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this saw for under a year now, not much heavy use and had no issues. As of late however, the blade does not sit in the track but instead sits just to the right of the guide. This is especially noticeable when the blade is moving at speed. The issue is that the cut starts out perfect and with in 2-3 inches the blade starts veering to the right and bends. I use a guide track for straight cuts and free hand with a speed square , Im care...

So far so good

The jigsaw seems to be well constructed and installation of blade is quick and easy. I have not used enough to report on durability or abilities of the jigsaw.
