Good tool, poor manual

Tool is fine but good luck trying to read the included manual. The text couldn't be any smaller and, for God knows why, they use light grey text on greyish/off-white paper (basically zero contrast between background and text). They seem to be aware that the color black exists, since they used it for the titles of each section, but chose not to use it for the important stuff, like the instructions. Good saw

I bought this 2 yrs ago works great ,I do use a 9ahm battery cut all day still has 1 bar left, only changed blade 1 time

Great Product but Shipped in Original Box

That it was shipped in the product box and the customer was not told this as it was a gift

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] DId not come with a blade changing tool to remove the bolt and the bolt is a strange size. I have to use an adjustable wrench to remove the bolt to remove the blade, This is totally unacceptable for a tool that cost this much, FIrst dewalt tool that I have been disappointed in. And that is not good.

This is my second one I have purchased and the same thing happened. Made it through about 5 2by4s and it's dead. The batteries are still fully charged. It won't spin. Same as my last one. It starts out great but at this point it's wasting so much of my time it's not worth it. I do not recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from the Dewalt max 6 1/2 circular saw to this bad boy a couple of months ago. I have never been happier. I used this recently to cut 3/4 in osb, it went through each panel like butter. It is honestly an awesome saw. You can really tell Dewalt listens to there customers!

Lasted almost a year

It broke down and getting it replaced or repaired isn’t customer friendly

Why such a crappy safety!!

Overall the saw has good power and battery life. It has cut everything I have asked if it was a professional carpenter, but What I don't understand is why they chose to put a safety switch on it that forces you to move you entire grip to activate the saw. The safety they put on the 6 1/2 inch saw is easy to quickly access and start cutting. I HATE THE SAFETY ON THIS ONE! I would recommend dewalt tools among any other.

Dewalt is by far the best brand whether it’s my new saw or my old 18v drill. I would recommend them

Disappoinment

I am a big fan of Dewalt tools and own many. I bought this because I hate managing cords. Unfortunately the blade tends to wander no matter what kind you use (I tried several). It also cuts like the blade is dull even when using a new blade. I then purchased the 60v version and experienced the same. Can't afford the Dewalt table saws so I have to go back to my corded HF saw. Disappointing because all of my other Dewalt cordless tools have performed superior.

Dead after 20 cuts

I had high expectations. The saw was light and the adjustments were an improvement over my older DeWALT corded model. It is a bit of a power hog but that was to be expected. I was cutting 1x12 siding and it died after 20 cuts. The 5amp battery was fully charged but it will not start. When I manually turn the blade, it has a gravely sound as if a bearing is bad. 20V 7 1/4" Circ Saw is exactly what I need

I use this saw daily and it performs evwrytime without fail. I love the brushless motor and the brake on it works flawlessly. Extremely quiet compared to my plug in dewalt commercial saw. Allows me to start nice and early on jobs and not bother the homeowners. Very pleased with this saw.

buy a different saw

saw is setup very strangely.. almost like its a hybrid left hand right hand unit.. ergonomics of the saw is just pooooooorrrrr

bad saw

when i bought it was making a rubbing noise after second time useing it quit

Only used it a few times but looking forward to more projects soon

It holds a charge all day . It was a little heavier than my many powered corded saws .
