MY THIRD DEWALT OSCILLATING TOOL IN 3 YEARS

THEY WORK GREAT UNTIL THEY DON. MY FIRST TOOL STOPPED WORKING AFTER A FEW MONTHS ELECTRICAL SHORT OF SOME KIND, THE SECOND NOT OSCILLATING THE HEAD. SO I PURCHASED A THIRD UNIT THE 356 3 SPEED LETS HOPE THIS ONE LASTS A LITTLE LONGER. WARRANTY IS JUST LETTERS ON A BOX NO FOLLOW THRU

Great tool!

This tool is awesome for cutting through any material when you have the right blade on it. The only problem I encountered was the 6 ah batteries were too heavy and it caused the battery harness on the tool to come loose. The battery moves when on the tool.

excellent handy tool

Replaced an old oscillating tool with this one. I have used it for detailed sanding, and it has variable speed which helped with the task. The battery lasts a long time due to brushless motor. I bought the tool with the package of battery and attachments which I believe a good value. I am glad it has a standard head to which you can use attachments from different brands.

One of the most versatile tools on the market!

I bought this tool not really knowing if I was gonna use it so much but it's amazing and I use it on every job I'm on. Ive used the scraper blade to scrape up old roofing tar, the drywall blade to demo drywall without creating a big heaping pile of destroyed drywall, cut out birds mouth for rafters, metal blade to cut old sunken nails and stripped screws and even bought a sander attachment for places you cant get an orbital sander in. Handy saw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great in places and for cutting rectangular holes in wood and drywall. I really like the quick change blade system and trigger switch. I think it is a little strange that there is a mount for a belt hook, but there are no threads to screw the hook to the tool. I have used the saw to cut a 200A service wire that had absolutely no slack and I could not get any other tool to fit in that space.

Most versatile tool I use right now.

No brainer

I didn't know how much I needed this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it to help remove silicone from my shower, but I've used it for a bunch of things since. It got into small places to cut drywall. I've cut off nails. I even used it to sand. Admittedly, if you've got the space to use a different tool, those are probably better, but getting a reciprocating saw between fence posts was impossible and this little tool did the job great.

Run time is awesome even on 2ah batteries. Changing blades takes seconds compared to the couple of minutes that it took with my old rockwell.

More useful than I expected

This thing ran like a champ to quickly and precisely remove whatever i needed to. Blade changes were as quick and easy as advertised. Cons: Is loud.
