Ratings & Reviews for DEWALT XTREME 12-volt Max Variable Speed Brushless Cordless Reciprocating Saw (Battery Not Included)
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The product has a mixed performance. On the positive side, it is praised for its compact and lightweight design, making it easy to handle and use for small jobs. It is also considered powerful enough for tasks like cutting pipe, pruning trees, and installing cabinets. However, many customers report issues with the saw frequently cutting out or stopping, even with a fully charged battery. Some find it underpowered and unable to handle tougher materials without stalling. Overall, the saw seems suitable for light-duty, small-scale tasks, but may not be reliable or powerful enough for more demanding applications.

12 volt
Would Not RecommendMy bad. I read so many times DeWalt bragging on the fact that dozens of tools run on the same 20 volt battery! Little did I know that some run on a 12 volt battery!! I didn’t even know they had 12 volt ones! I have 6, 20 volt batteries so was excited to bring this “tool only” saw home only to find that I messed up. Not about to buy a battery and charger. Be careful!
Powerful saw.
Would RecommendBought this saw a couple of weeks ago and has come in handy for multiple projects around the house! Very easy to operate one handed.
