Would RecommendDewalt durability. Need I say more? Perfect size, and plenty of cutting power for my general purpose home uses. Did I say my use? My daughter has already laid claim to it. Just like she took "shared custody" of my Dewalt 20v Max drill and charger. The drill is another great Dewalt power tool.

Great saw, but have multiple batteries.
Would RecommendTried so many tools to remove some root systems from old shrubs I was removing. There was no way I could have completed the job, and saved my sanity without this. Battery doesn't last long if cutting through hard wood, make sure you have a back up on hand.

Blade motor installed backwards
Would Not RecommendThe first and only time I used the saw, it ran backwards and burned the 2x4 I was trying to cut. A google search showed it was not uncommon. Both Lowe's and DeWalt have given me nothing but a run around. Really disappointing.
