OG DeWalt for the WIN

Went through a home remodel and ended up selling a ton of tools I acquired but no longer need from the acid green brand. Got these on a Daily Deal for an amazing price and I love the OG brushed smell and for homeowners and DIY use these are more than enough. Brushless if nice but not really necessary unless you're using it all day every day. Had a set similar to these in the early Dewalt 20v Lithium era and there is a reason these are still in production! This set comes with 1.5AH batteries not...

Buy it and use it

I have had this combo for several years --- still works great and the batteries have never failed. The drill is easy to use and the slow start feature helps get things started correctly. The impact handles 90% of what I need and a breaker bar the rest. Could not have asked for more.

Now I'm liberated from the electrical cord

the product is fine the vendor is the issue

Dewalt has been making good quality product for most of my life I am 72. The issue is with Lowes and their digital pickup service. I have poor circulation, touch screens do not respond to my touch like others, when I asked for assistance, I was confronted by an obviosity overworked and under paid young woman with no patients for the elderly's frustration with semifictional evolving digital tech. I will be hesitant to order from Lowes in the future.

I use dewalt at work and I love the brushless xr model but this is not adequate. It sparks everytime I use the impact or drill and smokes.
