Ratings & Reviews for DEWALT XTREME 2-Tool 12V MAX XR Brushless DrilI/Impact Driver with Bag (2-Batteries and Charger Included)

Not dependable

I love the compact size of these tools, and the fact that I can use the same charger for 20 and 12 volt batteries. However, in the few months that I have had them, both the drill and impact will all of a sudden not respond to the trigger. I have to take the battery off, leave it off for a while then put it back on, and so far it’s like some kind of memory is cleared and it starts working again. Very inconvenient when trying to get work done. As compared to other major brand 12 volt sets of which...

Part of my DeWalt collection

I have used these continually for many years. The only thing replaced has been the batteries from years of charging and dropping the tool on the job. I wont get another brand. I have used others but prefer my 'Mello Yellow' dependable tools.

You don't want this drill.

The driver is great, but the Dewalt drills with a plastic chuck won't hold the bit securely. It might be OK if you're only drilling wood, but if you plan to use this on metals your drill bits will spin in the chuck no matter how tight you turn it. Skip this combo and buy a better quality drill.

Great New Update To My Tool Box.

I’ve always been fond of Dewalt tools. I purchased this set in place of an old 18v Dewalt drill that died. So far, I enjoy the ergonomics of these newer drills/impacts.

Compact, Lightweight, and Powerful Tools

Super powerful and lightweight compact tools with several settings and long battery life. The charger is fast too! Love that it came with a bag so I can carry it separately from my hand tools.

Batteries charge really fast

That is small compact

Wish it was 20v

Wish it was a 20v unit instead of a 12v unit

Tiny but mighty

Great for the small spots that big drill can not get

Ultimate duo

This kit is great because not only do you get the drill and the impact, but you also get the batteries too. As you know, batteries aren't cheap so I'm glad I was able to find the bundle together rather than needing to purchase separately. These are both high-quality options and great to have when you need them for DIY projects or more in-depth needs.
