Outstanding replacement to my 15 year old Dewalt d
After 15 years my old Dewalt drill finally needed to be replaced. Love the battery life on this, fits well in my hand and feels very balanced. I also really appreciate where the light is located and the angle it shines, older drills had the light located too close to the chuck and when holding a screw to start it my hand would block out the light. Overall, I’m really happy with the drill so far.

Second drill to do this
Would Not RecommendI bought a dewalt hammer drill the first time. I used it for about three months before it got where it would only run forwards, no matter which direction was selected. I returned it to Lowe’s and it was replaced with this one. It’s been over a year but the same problem has occurred with the second drill. Since I can’t return this one to Lowe’s I’m going through dewalt’s repair service. But after this one quit working I’m done buying new dewalt tools. I’m not risking wasting more money.
