Part of the 6 tool combo kit i bought earlier this year. Absolutely love it. Have owned other tool brand drills and this Dewalt out performs all of those on the comparable applications I used every drill on. Thats with the standard battery that came with the kit. Eager to try with a better battery that's out there. Excellent Drill

This drill has many common settings for various jobs so read up or watch a video of the options for settings so you don't split your wood. Plenty of power to drive 3" deck screws through treated lumber no issue whatsoever. The high speed setting may drive the screw head further into the wood than you want, so practice on a scrap piece of wood beforehand. I got mine with two batteries which is great, but during my project I never used the second battery because the first one lasted a long time....

Great Product

I have this set and it works great for whenever I need the power to get the project done. definitely a workhorse in my tool box. having the ability to use the batteries on all other DeWalt products helps a lot. I even got a set for my father in-law for his projects around the house. if you are looking for a tool brand to start out with or just need an extra drill, I recommend this set.

Had this drill motor for longer than I can remember, this thing has taken multiple drops and hits and all its black paint has stripped away but it still works flawlessly to this day. Dewalt has always been my favorite tool brand.

Own several DeWalt brush and brushless & XR drill/drivers. Best cordless drill/driver money can buy. And best 20 volts batteries for torque and durability.

A great cordless drill investment

This compact drill has become my most used tool. In site of being compact, I use it for almost everything that doesn't require the hammer action. Really well made with a smooth trigger and feel. Nice job DeWalt.

Faulty

The chuck got stuck and wasn’t able to be loosened. Very disappointed.

Drill that struggles following directions

I would say roughly 2-8% of the time this drill goes in the wrong direction. This is the first drill I have ever experienced this anomaly with (Black & Decker, Bosch, Dewalt, Hitachi). Even more confounding I have switched it to reverse, it went reverse, then went forward on the next pull, then reverse again. All without changing the direction switch. As one can imagine this was extremely frustrating while using this drill to put together a playset for my kids. While trying to back a screw out,...

Model #DCD777C2 not good for me.

I purchased the Model #DCD777C2 so that I could keep my older DEWALT in the basement and have this available in the garage. After just 1 year, the chuck no longer holds bits and the drill is beginning to grind. With PPMS I have limited ability to use power tools on a regular basis, and I figured that having 2 would last me till I'm no longer able to use...guess this one is worse off than me.

Watch when you order from Lowe’s. I got an email that I was to pick up this drill at my local store and was quite surprised when the item appeared at my doorstep. When I looked back at my order form I saw there was a $99 delivery fee. Management said I clicked the button to have it delivered. I NEVER pay for delivery. I will go out of my way to pick items up. So I paid $200 for a $99 drill. Absolute 0 care for the customer! Lowe’s you lost an extremely loyal customer.

Perfect Household Drill

I received this drill as a gift and I do have to say it’s probably the best gift I’ve been given in a while. We do a lot of DIY projects in our house and this is the perfect drill for every project. I’ve used it for everything from building a swing set to taking furniture apart and it’s better than any drill I’ve had before. The batteries last quite a long time and I love that it comes with a charger so you don’t have to buy it separate. All around great product that I can’t recommend enough...
