Would RecommendIt fit my 18v drills without a problem but when I went to connect it to a sawzall it will not lock on. For the cost if you have a lot of 18v that still runs good this is a good temporary option over upgrading everything. Just know going in it may not attach to everything in your 18v collection.

Would Not RecommendThis thing is junk. Pain in the rear to insert and/or remove. Doesn't always make good electrical contact with tool.

Keeps old tools going!
I have two of these to keep my old 18v tools useful with the modern batteries. I plan to use those old tools until they are worn out so the branded adapters are an excellent option...I tried an off-brand adapter before and it did not work. Just be aware that there are some specific tools that the adapter will not work with and some specific 20v batteries that do not fit. And it is a struggle to get the adapter off of my 18v reciprocating saw after running it a while hot.

dont waste your time or money.
Product has design restriction to only use lower amperage battery. Tried to use a larger amp battery and it would not seat properly. Therefore it did not have enough power to fire a single nail from the Dewalt 18 ga nailer or turn larger drills.

Get Extra Use From Old Tools.
Would RecommendI have several of these adaptors. They allow me to keep using my 18v tools instead of replacing them. Great product.

Battery mounts are different on different batterie
I bought 1 adapter, and then I bought a charger with 2 batteries. The 5ah battery fits in the adapter, and the 4ah doesn't.
