Ratings & Reviews for DEWALT 15-Gallon Portable Electric 225 PSI Vertical Air Compressor

Shipping Disaster

This will be the third time I have ordered this item. Every time it arrives, it is severely damaged. It’s like they rewrap the damaged item and ship again. This will be the last time that we try to receive an item like this from Lowe’s.

Air compressor

This is my second DeWalt air compressor I have a big one for the shop no problems but if I knew the coustmer service was so bad I would not have one! My boys got me a 1.6 portable for father's day and the check valve was broken right out of the box a inexpensive part so instead of taking it back to store i thought ill order one and fix it well nope part is non existent! I called DeWalt to see if they could send me one and to start no one can speak good English I then get transferred to another p...

Works great, great product and great value

Picked up item got it home and the cover was broke so had to return and get a new one. The store was great and helpful with the return and exchange.

Pick it up at the store

Just arrived box destroyed and the plastic shroud is broken but I really like the compressor it fits in its space perfectly and seems to run great. I thought it would come from my local Vero Beach store but it came from out of state and passed through too many hands and trucks! I don’t know if I can get the plastic shroud replaced or not but it’s working ok and I plan on keeping it! I would purchase it at the store if I had to buy another one! I can’t believe he carried that thing!

its wonderful we love it and it works great

very small and fits the area that we needed.

Destroyed itself

Piston and rod completely destroyed themselves and replacement parts are hard to find and when I did get them they didn’t work. I basically have an air tank with no compressor. I’ve always been a Dewalt fan but this is horrible. I can’t rate this as a 0 or I would.

Wow I am tired of being mistreated over and over.

The shipping has been ridiculous. You try and put the bad shipping on me . It has been a very bad experience. And No one in the store cares.

Information not shown in DeWalt's product descrip

Compressor achieves 225 PSI but the output is limited to 150 PSI max. Expected to be able to supply at least 200 PSI to a portable air tank rated to handle 225 PSI

DON'T BUY FROM LOWES

PRODUCT SHOWED UP BROKEN

4 MONTHS for warranty repair

The compressor was sent in for a warranty repair. 2 phone calls and 4 MONTHS later i received it back. The box was filled with trash as packing material, a 32gal trash bin worth of trash. DeWalt's standards and commitment to quality has clearly declined significantly. Do not recommend because if something goes wrong, there's no guarantee you'll get any customer support.

Save your money

After only airing up RV tires 8-10 times air on regulated side was zero. No air at hose . Tank registered 220. Called customer service, paid for regulator parts and they were never sent. These are junk.. Customer service is a joke. Get another brand!

Easy To Assemble

I bought this compressor on sale for $351.97 as a homeowner to use for occasional use of air tools and inflations. I like the small footprint, ease of movement and the 225 PSI pressure. I used a 2x2 with a couple of garage hooks through the handle to hang a long hose.

Terrible Warranty

Had something in the motor go 6mo into owning this. Warranty is repair only. Dewalt wanted me to drop this off at a repair center. 2 1/2 hour round drive drive was out of the question, now they want me to ship it. They provided a UPS label and recommended having the UPS store help package. The UPS store doesn't have a big enough box. Do not buy.

Small, 120V 225psi Compressor for small shop

It is the correct size for a small shop for what we need it for

Works as it should.

Works great, use it daily! Idea changes would be rubber inflatable tires, so the compressor is easier to manage, and also give more clearance from the ground for the pressure relief valve, to prevent it breaking off!
