I love the size and convenience, but I’m severely disappointed that halfway through making my waffles, the top plate failed to stay latched. It latches find when it’s off and cool, but once it heats up, the latch fails.

Would RecommendIn process of getting it going. Hoping will help my wife and I get our mornings started without the drive thru experience and will help my kids feel comfortable in making small snacks and meals for themselves. Would RecommendWe were using the plain griddle for a morning egg when one morning it was accidentally knocked off the counter and broke. I’m contemplating getting rid of our other dash waffle makers because this does the job. I do wish there was an organizer available for storing the plates so they don’t scratch up each other, etc. I love that the griddle is an easy way for my 4th grader and middle schooler to “cook” an egg etc with less mess than a pan on the stove.
