Expensive and worthless

Horrible product and expensive. Followed directions and it only worked for 2 mins if that. You are MUCH better off buying some premixed mud (around $12 if you get the stuff in a box), a mud knife and a $10 texture sponge. I had to do this after the can stopped working for me and that area looks so much better than the area with this can

Terrible

Do not buy this product. Half the contents ended up on the ground. 75% of the time there is product leaking out of the bottle. This product costs too much for how little material you actually get. Just terrible.

Junk

Bought two cans junk I ever bought wish I would’ve read the reviews before purchasing. This is a waste of money just might as well open the door and throw it out first of all it covers 125 ft.² that’s a lie. Secondly really doesn’t work that well and I could’ve wet toilet paper and thrown it at the wall and probably would’ve been better.

Did NOT work as described.

I'm thinking I got product from a bad batch. This is the second can I bought, this one for the ceiling and the other for the walls. This one, like the other, started out okay by just suddenly stopped as though it were out of propellant. Another dud. I am returning this product to the store for a refund.

DO NOT BUY

I left a review and was responded to saying it was not complete. so here we go again. This product is absolute garbage. I have used Homex products in the past, and I finished my current project with Homex canned texture. The fact that DAP continues to "dispute" reviews by telling the customer they used the product wrong is wild. It is a terrible product. No matter how long i shook the product, or how I tried to apply it, the product failed. It was shaken for nearly 5 minutes. It sprayed chunks...

Horrible product

I purchased two cans of this to refinish some repairs. The first can didn’t spray, and no matter what I did, it would not operate. The second can was difficult to get going, and when it did finally start to spray texture, it didn’t stop. The whole can emptied and made a disaster of a mess to deal with.

Like spraying water!

Followed directions on the can, I will not purchase this brand again! Made a bigger mess than a nice finish. Not sure why was mostly liquid no compound.

Orange Peel Texture

Patched drywall and used this to attempt to match the existing texture. Can wouldn’t spray thicker than medium so I couldn’t match existing texture but otherwise it worked fine.

Don’t purchase this product it cost you time

The nozzles were very sloppy with product dripping down your hand and on the can. Had to return one can due to the fact it only sprayed for a few seconds before stopping this was a new can with the seal intact.

Good product

It works well but makes a huge mess. We redid our wiring and had to cut holes in our ceilings. We purchased this after we covered the holes and needed to blend it back in with the rest of the ceiling. It did a great job but it sprays all over the place leaving a huge mess. 1/4 of the product ends up everywhere but the ceiling.

Have a sponge ready to remove over spray.

Very easy to use and i was able to match my texture from before.

The texture Blended fairly well but it is messy it gets all over the place not just straight out of the spout a lot of waste

Terrible product

Not enough pressure in the can to spray the product as intended. Directions say to hold can 12-18 inches away and it barely sprays 6 inches. More product dribbles down your hand than sprays out. I shook it aggressively for nearly 3 minutes before starting, temperature is nearly 80 degrees here in Florida. I assumed it was a bad can that had lost pressure, but 2nd can was just as bad. No, I do not recommend this product.
