Would Not RecommendThe plastic adaptor for 1/2" pipe is a giant pain to use. It is really tight both inside and outside. Wasted me hours and I still could not thread this thing against the wall. I had to use a channel lock to unscrew the adaptor and I ended up damaging it.

This product contains a plastic adaptor that is used for connecting the actual tub spout to a half-inch copper pipe. This adaptor has internal half-inch threads, and three-quarter inch threads. The adaptor made the product unusable. The diameter of the half-inch threads is too small to be screwed onto a half-inch male copper adaptor. I tried two copper adaptors, and on neither of them did the adaptor fit.
