What Customers Are Saying
Most customers report the owl decoy successfully deters birds and squirrels from porches, gardens, and yards, with many noting reduced droppings and nesting. Reviewers praise its realistic, lifelike appearance and highlight that moving it regularly prevents habituation. However, a notable group finds it completely ineffective, reporting birds ignore or perch beside it, particularly crows and persistent species. Several mention it needs weighting to stay upright. Overall, most customers consider it worthwhile despite mixed results.

Would Not RecommendGood looking owl statue that birds simply ignore. Cannot recommend, doesn't deter them.
Seems to do the job. Scares me at night too.

Been helping
Would RecommendBought about about to go to keep the birds off by patio table. It seems to be working though they are beneath the table though, but that’s easier to clean.

Terrible construction. Thin plastic. Leaks water from base so it doesn't stand up.
Didn’t scare the the birds like I hoped.
Would Not RecommendGot the owl hoping it would stop the birds from pooping on our front porch. I move it around every day and it has reduced the amount of droppings we are getting, but they have not stopped.
