Ratings & Reviews for CRAFTSMAN Quick Change 3/4-in 3 -Blade Retractable Utility Knife with On Tool Blade Storage

Good knife.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works as intended. East to use and put to together. Common sense is all it takes.

DO NOT BUY. TERRIBLE PRODUCT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] DO NOT BUY!!!! This is a piece of junk. Installing new blades doesn't work. I've owned MANY utility knies. This one is the worst.

Nice as expected but with one small disappointment

Made In USA craftsman in 2024, might sound too good to be true but it's real. It's nothing crazy special, just a decent utility knife. My only complaint is that a few of the extra blades were slightly rusty when I opened the package shortly after purchase. You'd think with all the goop they smear on them that this wouldn't be an issue but it was for the one I purchased. Other than that, I'd have given it 5 stars.

Bought the Two Pack; Each Had Only One Blade!

I like the fit and finish, but each box cutter had only one blade, despite saying it has three blades in each box cutter. The accessory compartment was empty, as was the rest of the packaging (which was sealed from the factory). I can't believe that Craftsman is so stingy.

Good deal!

Strong material and light weight

Ok

Ok

Don't Bother

This is the hardest knife I've ever had to put together. Took about 10 min of trying and retrying. I love Craftsman products, but find another utility knife.

Fantastic utility knife

I'm a big fan of this knife. It just has a lot of great design aspects to it. It feels great in the hand, fits great in a tool pouch or pocket, the size is just right. It feels solid and purposeful, no extra frilly features. To change the blade you push the little black button and pull the blade out, simple. Some reviewers can't seem to figure that out. My one gripe is about the blade position detents. The blade can stop where about .25" of the blade is sticking out. You might think visually you...

Great product

Sharp

Disfunctional Blade

TERRIBLE - The two halves are impossible to put together once you insert the blade. Also the device does not allow you to insert the blade as designed.

horrible

The button to use to insert the blade in the knife is stuck on my first try - horrible and dangerous! Returning it.

Perfect knife

this knife is awesome. took me a minute to figure out how to change the blade but once i got it i felt stupid lol. can have a blade changed in just a few seconds, so much better than having to find a screw driver and take out a screw. blades are sharp and the blade storage compartment is a nice touch too. all around, great knife.

Blade Change

Blade will not lock into knife. Button that appears to be for blade change does nothing. No instructions on inserting or changing blade with this knife.

Not at all easy to Install blade

While the concept ii is not easy to install the blade. The black button that needs to be pushed in is to difficult to keep depressed while trying to load the blade. An accident waiting to happen. Returning it for Craftsman straight grey utility knife. One screw to open and replace blade..

It’s a good knife

Easy too change blades

Fine, could be better.

Knife works great and then the blade wears out in about 3-7 days. It’s a good value pack and works for small stuff but if your using this as a work knife spend a little more for something better

blade storage

made in the usa

This thing sucks

No info on how to operate it. slider goes back and forth, blades remain inside. Open it up and all the parts fall out. Packing says to go to website for instructions, but all that's there is photos of the tool and reviews. So review it is... First razor blade knife that's smarter than the average user.
